Amritsar

Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (IIM Amritsar) was established in 2015 by the Government of India as the country’s 15th IIM, and it currently operates out of a campus inside the Government Polytechnic complex in Chheharta, Amritsar, Punjab. Its logo draws on the “Flower of Life” pattern found at the Golden Temple, reworked into a pentagonal form associated with the state of Punjab. Beyond its flagship two-year MBA, the institute runs specialized MBA programs in Business Analytics and Human Resources, an Executive MBA, a PhD, and an MSc in Data Science and Management offered jointly with IIT Ropar. In under a decade it has built a placement process spanning finance, consulting, and general management roles, with growing participation from international recruiters.
