Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIM Sirmaur) is one of the IIMs set up by the Government of India in 2015, located in the Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh near Paonta Sahib. It runs a flagship two-year MBA alongside an MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management, a PhD in Management, a Bachelor of Management Studies and executive programmes. The institute publishes unusually detailed final placement reports that break outcomes down by programme, work experience, gender and CGPA, and it has argued publicly that average CTC alone is a poor measure of placement quality.
Editor's take
IIM Sirmaur publishes an average but no median CTC; its latest (2025) average is ₹13.30 LPA. Without a median, there's no figure for what a typical student earned.
Banking was the largest recruiting sector in 2024, taking 29.9% of offers. No single sector took most of the offers.
