Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur (IIM Sambalpur) is one of the IIMs set up by the Government of India in 2015, and the first IIM in Odisha. It was mentored in its early years by IIM Indore and now operates from its permanent campus at Basantpur, near Sambalpur. Its flagship offering is the two-year full-time MBA, alongside executive and doctoral programmes. Final placements for the MBA have scaled with batch size, with the 2023-25 batch of 314 students drawing over 216 recruiters.
