Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM Jammu) is one of the newer Indian Institutes of Management, set up by the Ministry of Education in 2016 as part of the government’s expansion of the IIM system. It operates from a permanent campus at Jagti on the outskirts of Jammu, in Jammu and Kashmir, and was mentored in its early years by an established IIM as is standard practice for new institutes in the system. The institute offers a two-year full-time MBA along with specialized programs, including one in Hospital Administration and Health Management. Its placement process has grown steadily since the first batches graduated, drawing recruiters across consulting, BFSI, IT and analytics, and general management roles.
